Solid design, this looks great, I especially like those little crotch fins, the body has a great curve to it and that bulbous head is really nice. Again, Donal's spot on, I think it only needs some punchy highlights. Some nice white lines and dots in the right areas will make this flesh really sparkle and feel wet. Just look at Rapoza's work for how to do it--
Also, I just noticed something clever about Rapoza's file naming convention-- put your name/handle in the filename so that anyone who copies it and forgets who did it can refind you! Dunno why that never occured to me before.
I like your character sheet/silhouettes. Only thing I can say is to flesh out your main character a bit more.
