Looking good, I think you should definitely finish this guy up for a portfolio piece, soldiers are always good. I think making him a little more dynamic might be a good idea, but you could also go for full realism and think of it more as a historical illustration with accurate wardrobe and weapons and such. OR, you could throw in a blaster rifle, or bit of alien technology for a cool juxtaposition of old and new, like the Resistance series has going.
