032514 a small update

New things! I finished up my old sketchbook so I'm trying to deal with drawing on the first couple of pages of it. They will pass! The color bit took an hour tonight. How's everyone else doing?

recent stuff

Donal, you keep keeping the show going, so I will break the cycle! I took one hour to spend on this one tonight.

These are some other things I worked on more recently.

Also: Everyone should watch this video from Futurepoly. It's Arenanet guys talking about giving critiques to students on their work. I found it really insightful both as a 3D artist and a concept artist. These guys are smart and the advice they give is just about being attentive and looking for simple ways to elevate your work and make it more pro.

Small submission

I needed something to shake me out of my painting complacency. I haven't done a whole lot lately because of the 3D stuff that I have to do for work. Which of course, I can't show yet.

Anyways, I wanted to ask, who'd be up for a skype desktop sharing paintjam? I don't know what everyone else's schedule is like in the summer time, but having an online paintjam would be a good way to keep up accountability to paint in our free time, and we could have a theme if we want.
